Pote's Krevice | ||||||||||||
A jpt reader took the poetry of Jonah Shirley Purr as his personal challenge to hurl verse. We agreed to his publishing demands provided one of our art interns be allowed to illustrate the piece as he or she felt moved. The result is what we term a show.

Mike's poem
Mindfully Revolving |
||||||||||||
Mike moves among friends
A habit can be either a friend
If one's habits are good,
Sometimes happiness is attributed to deities,
but good habits are to blame for all things that are comforting.
Even a habit regarded as neutral in nature, I'd deem as being good.
As long as it doesn't degrade one's character,
it contributes to a house built of sturdy wood.
Assuming that's true, I'm willing to make a bet, most habits are nice;
the rest pose a threat. | ||||||||||||
Best beware of the bad and uproot them with haste,
lest your green grass be suppressed by encroaching weeds wanting space.
